The PeopleSoft Business Analyst provides functional and technical direction for all projects related to the maintenance of PeopleSoft HCM such as upgrades, security enhancements and custom projects required to support the business functionality required in the system.
Key Responsibilities include:
•Test and implement PeopleSoft programs and customizations.
•Test and implement PeopleSoft upgrades and patches.
•Liaise with PeopleSoft on any logged issues.
•Work with end user departments to define and configure the system.
•Analyze, recommend, test and implement system configuration options.
•Work with the Application Management in prioritizing work for the various service lines and managing customer requests.
•Support the implementation of the PeopleSoft HR/Payroll new modules.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
•Minimum of 4 years experience with PeopleSoft HCM, including HR, Benefits Administration and Payroll.
•Minimum of 2 years experience with PeopleSoft Query guidance.
•Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
•Functional payroll processing experience preferred.
•Understanding of HR, Benefits and Payroll business processes.
•Ability to translate functional payroll into technical requirements.
•Strong organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills.
•Must display professionalism and confidence.
•Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills.
•Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment.
•Thorough understanding of SQL.
•Demonstrated experience determining how to best utilize the system to support the business need.
