Job Summary:

MetLife’s Corporate eBusiness group is looking for a Sr. Internet Business Analyst eager to join a dynamic and exciting team. As MetLife increases its focus on the internet as a lead generation and servicing vehicle, creative and solution orientated thinking is not only encouraged, but expected. The Sr. Internet Business Analyst will be a core member of a team that contributes to crucial business success metrics.

With the utilization of cutting-edge technologies, the candidate will be responsible for implementing new functionality on MetLife.com, MetLife’s predominant public-facing website. In partnership with various MetLife lines of business, the candidate will assist in delivering solutions that show meaningful business results, while continually increasing their skill set.

The Senior Business Analyst is not only expected to formulate new, forward thinking ideas, but also present and “sell” those ideas to a larger audience.

Principal Responsibilities:

1. Drive to achieve business goals by partnering with LOB constituents on website content and functionality

2. Conduct interviews and working sessions in order to develop business and functional requirements, including user scenarios, use cases, process flow diagrams, business requirements documents, and functional design documents

3. Identify necessary project resources. Manage deliverables to project milestones.

4. Research, evaluate select and manage third-party vendor solutions

5. Collaborate with IT Application Development to ensure the business requirements and functional designs effectively leverage the technical capabilities of the Corporate Web platform

6. Collaborate with the User Experience team to create effective content and functionality

7. Define and execute user acceptance test scripts for new Corporate Web functionality

8. Analyze web metrics to assist in defining new strategies and/or functionality for implementation on MetLife’s public-facing website

Job Requirements:

1. Posses strong interpersonal skills, technical understanding, and effective experience in the Internet space

2. Highly motivated, goal-oriented, collaborative, strong communicator, team player, and client-focused.

3. 3+ years of experience in conducting business analysis for Web applications.

4. 3+ years of experience in the application development process, including the definition of business requirements, functional designs, and user acceptance test scripts.

5. 3+ years of experience project managing mid to large sized initiatives

6. Prefer experience with Content Management Systems applications (Vignette, Tridion, Interwoven, IBM WCM, Fat Wire, etc.).

7. Experience in building user scenarios, use cases, process flow diagrams/descriptions, business requirements documents, functional design documents, and user acceptance test scripts

8. Ability to project manage multiple simultaneous projects, of varying sizes.

9. Knowledge of metrics and analytics a plus
