Job Purpose
The Business Analyst is responsible for interpreting customer requirements and modeling in Model N software. Must be analytical and work well with customers. Must be able to document work in professional manner. Candidate must be a self-starter and disciplined.
The Business Analyst is expected to cultivate an excellent relationship with the customer and to analyze, design, document, and implement the customer requirements.
The Business Analyst is an experienced, hands-on consultant ready to roll up sleeves to learn about customer businesses and successfully implement. Travel and on-site presence are required.
The successful candidate will also ideally be able to operate in both of Model N*s focus industries, Life Sciences (Medical Devices, Pharma/Biotech) and High Tech (Semiconductor, Electronic Component Manufacturers, OEMs).
This role is based in either the UK/London/Surrey (preferred), or in Switzerland (Zurich or Geneva)
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
The Business Analyst performs a wide range of duties including some or all of the following:
•Interprets business requirements
•Configures Model N application
•Prototypes Model N application
•Tests Model N application
•Helps customers understand how Model N will fit into existing and new business processes and organizations.
Qualifications
Education
•Master*s degree or greater, MBA preferred
•English & German required, further languages preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
•Knowledge and experience in performing business analyst work on enterprise software implementations
Proficiency in the use of computers for:
•Word processing
•MS Project Plan
•Data base management
•Spreadsheets
•E-mail
•Internet

Experience
•10+ years Business Analyst experience within Enterprise Software Company; and/or
•10+ years Management Consulting experience;
•3+ years experience with Life Sciences companies
Pan-European project implementation experience is considered critical.
