Lead Technical Business Analyst

 

This position is in our Retail Application Corporate Systems Development area. Project objectives involve analysis, design, and support of enterprise Customer Applications including development and implementation of an Enterprise Customer Loyalty solution for our company. This employee will work very closely with business owners as well as technical developers in order to design, develop and support enterprise level applications. Cross team interaction is required.

Responsibilities:   A Business Analyst will be involved in full project life-cycle tasks including business requirements gathering, business and technical analysis, design, testing, implementation and support. They will work closely with the business users, Architecture team and other application teams to develop enterprise customer solutions and troubleshoot issues. This position will be working in a team environment with both developers and business departments.

Bachelors Degree or equivalent and 7+ years relevant work experience. The candidate must have prior customer project work as a technical Business Analyst or Project Manager. Prior experience with developing and implementing a Customer Loyalty or Rewards program/solution is required. Customer Data Integration (CDI) experience is a definite plus. Candidate should also have prior exposure to / or have been involved with diverse technical development in both database and software development life cycle. Working knowledge of Oracle, Unix and Java is also required (having an understanding of the concepts from working with technical developers).

Prior experience in understanding and developing improved business processes is necessary. Experience working with offshore consulting is a plus. The candidate should have experience working in a team environment and have strong analytical and problem solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication, documentation and negotation skills are essential. Candidate must have great organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
