Senior Business Analyst, Product Development
The Senior Business Analyst will identify and document marketing, customer, business, and functional and technical product requirements for new development initiatives and enhancements to existing products.
The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for understanding and translating requirements in the format required for both product and system development. Under minimal supervision, is responsible for the analysis of complex business, product and operational requirements and successful development and deployment of product solutions.
The position is responsible for building the business case and performing financial analysis and will support department stakeholders to organize, plan, schedule, coordinate, and control project activities and documentation applicable to business analysis.
The position is to own key processes and documentation applicable to product development workflow, standards, and product management.
Bachelor’s degree required, MBA and/or major in Business, Economics, or Finance, preferred.
Five years product management or comparable experience preferred with healthcare or pharmaceutical industry strongly preferred.
Product Management certification a plus (PDMA-Product Development Management Association).
Demonstrated experience and working knowledge of best practices in managing requirements identification process
Demonstrated project management experience and experience in managing multi-disciplinary matrix teams. Fluent in economic modeling and business case development. In-depth understanding of regulatory requirements.
Strong understanding of the marketplace applicable to B2B products and services, with Healthcare/pharmaceutical industry preferred.
Proven cross-functional team building skills, superior organizational and time management skills.
Strong analytical and facilitation skills with attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong desire to work in a dynamic high-growth environment.
Must have outstanding skills creating and delivering effective and dynamic presentations.
