Senior Business Analyst
Description:
Imagine this, you are working for Massachusetts largest health care system and its largest single employer. Your role is to manage cutting- edge projects while working closely with end users and acting as a liaison between Patient Accounting and our IS department.
Partners Healthcare Corporate Revenue Systems Analysis department is looking for a top notch Senior Business Analyst who would be responsible for the following:
1. Establish test plans with expected results, conduct acceptance testing, identify issues and recommend solutions.
2. Influence and negotiate with others to meet project deadlines
3. Manage multiple small to midsize projects and drive projects to completion in a complex environment.
4. Over see workflow development, business requirement definition, functional specification development, and execution.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role you should have experience writing detailed business requirements, working with a development team to continually articulate requirements on behalf of the business and troubleshooting production issues including new products, applications, data requirements and reports. Additional competencies and skills we are seeking are listed below.
1. Well developed analytical skills with the ability to define, document and resolve problems utilizing a variety of analytical tools.
2. The ability to gather and validate requirements in order to resolve issues while utilizing creativity.
3. Demonstrated strength in evaluating feasibility or practicality of ideas and options, assess risks and trade offs, make informed and timely decisions.
4. You must have an understanding of revenue cycle processes including insurance verification, referral management, charge processing, billing, remittance processing and denial management.
5. Strong presentation skills with the talent to create high quality deliverables.
6. Knowledge of the Microsoft Suite with a solid foundation in Excel and Access.
7. Familiarly with reporting tools Crystal, CyberQuery. Working knowledge of BICS and PATCOM preferred.
8. BA/BS required IS, Finance, or Business preferred.
9. 5 + years in business analysis, within a health care environment with 2 + years of project management experience.
